New Registration Procedure:

 

Beginning 2008 Fall Semester, ETCS uses new online registration process. Please go to http://etchs.webhop.org to create user account and register classes or login if you register before.

 

General Information:

 

1.     East Tennessee Chinese School offers Chinese Language Class (中文班) and optional Culture & Art Classes (课外活动班).  A minimum of 7 students is required for a Chinese Language class. A minimum of 8 students is required for a Culture & Art class.

2.     You may choose to register only for Chinese Language Class, or for both Chinese Language Class and one of the optional Culture & Art Classes.

3.     Five Culture & Art Classes are offered for the Fall Semester. Descriptions of these classes are available at School's website (Culture/Art Classes). These classes are optional. Only one class can be registered, as they are offered at the same time.

a.     Dance (舞蹈)

b.     Painting/Art (绘画)

c.     Martial Arts (武术)

d.     SAT Math

d.     Technoloy

4.     Tuition & Fees (per child per semester):

a.     Make check payable to East Tennessee Chinese School. Payment is due on 8/23/2009 (the first day of school). Bring the check to school on 8/23/2009.

b.     Chinese Language Class: $100 for registration online before Aug 23 2009. ($110 after).

c.     Chinese Culture & Art Class: $35

d.     Adult Ballroom Dance Class: $45

e.     Adult Tai-Chi (太极) class: $15

5.     Students who leave ETCS before Oct 1, 2009 will receive a refund on prorated basis.  No refund thereafter. 

6.     To complete the registration, please read and sign "East Tennessee Chinese School Liability Waiver Form", available separately on School's website (http://www.etchs.org/regulations/Consent&LiabilityForm.doc). Turn in the signed form on the first day of the school. The signed form from last year is valid for this school year.
